I haven’t done a beauty post in sooo long but I’ve collected a few things over the last few months that I’ve really been enjoying. Most of these products I’ve had for at least a few weeks so I can give everything a proper review, although I have got some new skincare that I need to spend a bit longer trying out but I will be a doing a new skincare routine post soon.
Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer
I’d heard so much about this bronzer and I was so excited to try it. I ordered it in the shade Light, I was worried it would be too light for me but it’s perfect as it blends perfectly and, because it’s not completely matte, it gives a gorgeous glow. Also, it smells of cocoa butter and it’s amazing! As an American brand, it’s only available on Amazon but it’s priced at only £12.68 which is such good value.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Nude Foundation
This was an airport buy way back in October and I’ve used it on and off since. It’s light to medium coverage and has a lovely glow. It’s not always the best for my skin type and would be great for dryer skin but I love to wear it when I want something a bit lighter and fresher, but I don’t need it to last for too long.
Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder
I’d been after a loose powder for a while so when my favourite brand brought one out I had to buy it. I’ll admit a loose powder is taking a while to get used to and I’m still experimenting with how to use it. I use the shade Butter which is the perfect match for me and I love how fine the powder is, although I do always use a setting spray after applying it too make sure I don’t look powdery. The packaging is also gorgeous and super luxe but not the most practical as it’s very chunky.
The Ordinary Zinc and Niacinamide
This isn’t exactly a new favourite as it was something I used a couple of years ago but recently repurchased. I love it for keeping my skin clear and it stops it getting as oily and it’s a really easy product to add in to my routine; I fell like it gives my skincare a little boost of exactly what my skin needs.
Another addition to my skincare routine. As a huge fan of the Pixi Glow Tonic, I don’t go a day without it, I was really excited to try the Rose Tonic. It doesn’t have as visible results as the Glow Tonic but it’s so soothing to use and I make sure I use it in the morning to reduce redness or after a face mask or exfoliating. I also love the smell, it’s really relaxing and such a treat for my skin.
Aldi Luxury Candles and Reed Diffuser
Not exactly beauty but something I’ve really been enjoying. Everyone has talked about these candles being dupes for Jo Malone so when Andrew’s brother bought us a set for a house warming present I was very excited. I’ve never been lucky enough to own a Jo Malone candle so I can’t compare but I’m really impressed with these. My favourite is the Fig and Cassis scent, which I burn in the living room on an evening, and the Pomegranate reed diffuser is also gorgeous. The packaging definitely looks high end and they all look perfect placed around my house.
I love the double wear line! I use the original one for my oily skin and no powder so it gives me a natural glow (from my sweat lol) that isn’t overbearing.

I’ve never tried the original, I worried it would be too heavy for me, but I definitely want to now
